Lousy Smarch Weather

Today is the 24th of May. It will be June in 1 week. That's 2 inches on my bannister.

I was going to garden today. Oh well.

The truly disturbing part (other than the lack of housework in the background) is that I'm not stopping this, I'm documenting it!

Sunflower Shower

I always forget that this thing posts my pictures in reverse order and I'm too lazy today to rearrange them.

So, this is not really anything new, except it's a 2 tier version of the last. I made it taller than I usually do and I think I'll keep doing them this big.



This is for a bridal shower. The wedding flowers are sunflowers, obviously.

Of course I couldn't resist putting on my cute ladybugs.

I just love this cake.

Ghetto Dental

We are so very thankful for the insurance we now have. Especially the dental. All expenses are fully covered and all we have to do is provide one office, one industrial light, one dremel drill, and one long-lasting friendship. We call it ... Ghetto Dental.

We are blessed with many good friends.

Happy Birthday

Here is the proof that Emma had a fun birthday.

Until we tried to sing to her.

I do not know what it is with my kids and the Happy Birthday song. Perhaps it is the attention, or maybe the raging fire, but I think she wanted to start the terrible two's with a bang!

Ladybug

It's Emma's birthday and I decided to go with a ladybug theme. We did red and black balloons, a ladybug pinata, a ladybug banner, and this ladybug cake.

and what ladybug would be complete without green insides with chocolate chuncks!

Mothers Day

Nat: We didn't have lunch!

Mom: That's because it's not lunchtime yet.

Nat: But I'm really hungry and DRINKY!!!
